Learn to Row
All members new to the sport of rowing are required to participate in a “Learn-to-Row” as part of their program. They will receive a combination of dockside and on water instruction, focusing on rowing terminology, boat handling, safety and sweep style rowing. Rowers will be instructed in fours and eights.
The Learn-to-Row Program is offered for those who want to try rowing before taking out a full recreational membership. This consists of six sessions, which will focus on dockside instruction and terminology.
On-water sessions will be held at the coach’s discretion based on water/weather conditions.
Upon completion of the LTR, a credit of $107 will be applied toward a recreational rowing program.
