NOVEMBER PROGRAM CHANGE

  •

Starting November 1st we will be switching up our program at Mic Mac.  We will be starting our Division Basketball League against Banook and Senobe.  We are in the beginning stages of getting the Gym rented at Banook  which is were we will be playing.  We are having teams of 8 and play 4 on 4 basketball twice a week.  There will be a 2 hour gym period on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-6:30.  In this 2 hour period there will be at least 1 hour of Basketball and the remainder of time will be spent learning the basics of working out with age appropriate fitness programs. (ex body weights/running/stretching/yoga/).  This opportunity is open to any age from Atom to Bantam and it doesn’t matter if you have been training in the fall or not, EVERYONE IS WELCOME.  Along with these two days of our Basketball league we will be offering 2 more practices on Monday from 4:30-6pm and Saturday from 9-11am.  These practices will include any things Paddling (if weather is nice) running/workouts/yoga/stretching/soccer/Paddling Videos.  Our Basketball League will run from November to March ending in a League Championship Tournament to Crown the First Annual Atlantic Division Basketball Champion.

In order to start this League on time and run in an organized fashion we need to know everyone who is planning on joining our program for the winter months BY OCT 23 so that we can send out the official schedule by Oct 29.

The Fee for our program is $70 a month plus a one time fee of $30 which is for the gym rental.  So the first month is a $100 total and every month after that is only $70. With this $70 a month for 4 practice session per week which is only $4.37 a practice you are paying referee’s for basketball and also a Coach/Personal Trainer for the other part of our training program.  Where else can you get such a good deal for $2 an hour.  Only at the Mic Mac Canoe Club
